How It Works

Six steps. One conversation.

You stay in control.

The energy market is complicated. Working with us isn't. Here's exactly what happens from your first call to your new rate being locked in — and what to expect after that. The entire process can be handled remotely by phone, email, or video call.

01

Step 1

You give permission. No obligation.

We start with a Letter of Authorization (LOA). This simply gives us permission to review your current energy usage and shop rates on your behalf. It does not switch your service, commit you to anything, or change your current plan. You stay in full control — nothing moves forward without your written approval.

02

Step 2

We review your energy usage.

We analyze your current consumption data to understand your actual usage patterns — not just an average. This is what allows us to find rates that genuinely fit your situation, rather than a generic plan that looks good on paper but doesn't match how you actually use energy.

03

Step 3

We shop and negotiate the market for you.

With access to 90+ suppliers across all deregulated markets, we contact multiple providers, compare current rates, and negotiate on your behalf. We're looking for the best combination of rate, contract terms, and supplier reliability — not just the lowest number on a comparison chart.

04

Step 4

We explain your options. Clearly.

You receive a formal proposal with every charge broken down and explained in plain language. No industry jargon, no hidden fees buried in the fine print. We walk you through every option — what's included, what the contract terms mean, and what you'd actually pay.

05

Step 5

You choose your plan.

You pick the rate and supplier that makes the most sense for you. We submit the selection to the supplier, who will verify the details and reach out directly for your final signature and approval. Nothing is finalized without your explicit sign-off.

06

Step 6

We stay available. Long after you've signed.

Once your plan is active, our job isn't done. We monitor your contract timeline so your plan never auto-renews into an unfavorable rate. When your contract is approaching its end date, we reach out proactively to shop the market again — and lock in the best available rate before your current contract expires.

Common question

What actually happens when I switch?

Nothing changes. Except the rate on your bill.

Same power lines. Same poles. Same meter reader. The only thing that changes is the supplier name on your bill and the rate you're paying.

Your electricity or gas delivery is handled by your local utility — that part never changes, regardless of which supplier you choose. Switching simply means a different company is providing the commodity at a better price. There is no interruption to your service. No technician visit. No downtime.

Already under contract?

You can lock in tomorrow's rate today.

Most people assume they need to wait until their current contract expires before shopping for a new rate. They don't. We can secure a competitive rate now and schedule it to take effect the moment your existing contract ends — at no cost and with no disruption.

Energy prices move in one direction over time. The clients who save the most are the ones who lock in a low rate when it's available — not when they're forced to.

One more thing worth knowing

You never pay us directly. The supplier does.

Energy brokers are compensated by suppliers — not by the customers they serve. Every conversation, every proposal, and every hour of work we put into finding your best rate costs you nothing.

We think that's worth saying plainly upfront — because not every broker does.
